The representative I worked with, Shane, was absolutely wonderful and the main reason for the high-ish rating; if I could give her *specifically* a 5 star rating I would, she single handedly carried my experience! She was responsive, explained the policies clearly, and helped me get to the finish line during a very stressful personal time. Thank you so much for your help, Shane! You are wonderful and your talents will go far. The reason I can't give the company itself 5 stars however is for two main reasons: one, is that despite me being locked into the lease with the home owner, from my understanding the company still took an application fee from another person interested in renting during that time which feels disingenuous to that other applicant. A second reason is that they work with a partner company called Pet Screening which... well, I recommend peeking at them on the BBB website; some of that partner company's practices are a bit shady, and I feel they're not a good company to partner with and I wish Carolina Property Management took into better consideration the companies they utilize to assist with their services. Outside of that, hopefully I continue to work well with them during my time Renting, and that they give Shane a promotion as she's their shining star in my eyes at the moment.
